A great read. The story so far is like a character development of the mc. And mind you, the mc is supposed to be OP who is from the ancient times with god like power BUT he isn't OP. he strong anad all but once he gets to face against villains and other character, mc gets thrown back to reality and that he is needed/required to train more. my first time, i supposed, to see the mc still struggling facing against his father and that is in season 2 when he already got a bunch of powers up.

other than this, the world building is nice as well. being reincarnated after so many millenia's mc is finding truths here and there and is also able to piece things together.

probably there will be side stories after this title end because as i've said earlier the story so far is a character development of mc but there are also characters, side characters, that are left out, but mind you they will appear later on to assist him as promised to each other.

there is also a female lead that gets easily toss as a side character as the mc is solely focus on his goal and that the female lead is not his league, although mc also knows she and him are much like the same.

i'll sum it up as shortly per season.

season 1, character development geared towards magic.

season 2, character development taking on the path of swords, making mc a true magic swordsman.

along this seasons, mc meets friends and allies that will one day may possibly assist him.

one is a dragon who promised to assist mc.

another is a friend, an apostle of pierro, ricky, him I have doubt if they'll be allies in the end or be clashing with others.

another is an old lady that went into the shadow realm who is looking for her son.

another is the third rank swordsmaster in their country.

another is the muscle head that is a friend of his mc's grandfather.

another one is a valkyrie/fairy, benna, who gave her loyalty to mc and had to get separated with mc in order to train.

another is the creature, behemoth, mc conjured back in the early days before his reincarnation.

another is the demon lord, trica, who is actually a close friend to mc before the reincarnation.

there are much more side characters that mc will someday, in the latter chapters, meet. and as i said earlier, these characters will also get a lot of attention as well popularity if they are also given a side story title of their own.

before I forgot to mention, the character development that is most appealing on mc, imo, is his growing/returning sense of humanity. he thrown away his care for other after reincarnation but as the story progress, although this isn't much.. a lot? I don't know the word, but mc is somehow growing or returning back to his humane side or something. mc did mentioned he was betrayed a lot and got left out before his reincarnation which is why he has this cautious towards other and most of the time he has no care of what happen except for himself. But this gets slowly broken when he himself is showing care and empathy. mc himself and on his own took an apprentice with little affinity to magic without much reason other than himself wanting to teach again. mc was also a teacher before he got reincarnated. this is what made mc a beautiful/appealing character. along with his thoughts of being OP but gets beaten by others.

I can't wait for more chapters to come. my last chapter read is chapter 100.

season 3 starts with mc, as the recently appointed master, an archmage, getting his first? dispatch mission from the king. mc gets to be sent to a neighboring country to either help or let things be. this is all for the advantage of their kingdom. the country is governed by corrupt leaders and the rebels are trying to overthrow the kingdom. the rebels is the frontier, a likely ally in the future for mc.

Druid of Seoul Station (manwha review?)

this is a very good read. it's a hunter manwha with status windows, dungeons as portals, classes, getting trapped in dungeons, return as OP and such and such. probably typical of this type of genre but sure enough this is a very good read.

there is also the mixed in sports of hunter vs hunter premise but that just a little part of it. also another is a regression character, that is like in the omniscient readers view point, one of the antagonist has this.

plus points to the character development of the side character as well the staying true to character of mc as the story went on.

mc not wanting to be under a guild or anyone since in the world he got ported to, he's the king and him being protective of his family/pack which is true to him being with wolves in the world he was trapped in.

although, op, his human side sometimes show, not when he gets exhausted in battle but, when he desires to reunite with his friends from the other world. he gets sentimental to the point of being sad for not finding his friend. or to be more reckless and rageful against enemies. this break of character shown is just amazing.

there are probably 4 female lead candidates, only to one did mc showed any interest but not much more. mc's main concerm is either training, building up his territory and searching for friends in the other world.

mc's side kicks are also fun to see grow. each of them is truly remarkable and is alive.

one is a blogger who is like ussop in piece, since he deals with long range attacks and is often in the back. he has his own story and it's quite funny when the suho clan goes on dungeon raiding and he's there filming videos. not to mention his live streams and his live broadcasts.

another is a monk who also have his own circumstance of being a monk and having to take care of kids. one his major character development is when he got bitten by an infected, gets saved by mc, and unlocked a taming ability of somesort, probably more on a vampire thing than zombies. i'm saying this because his summons are zombies, which he tamed and became his underlings, anyone/anything they bit can also become the monk's subordinate. he's also having this certain tendency to be like a zombie. he is hiding this from the rest of the suho clan.

jaesik, the swordsman, the first person mc inspired. he has his story but I say probably not much character development? there is progression of his skills and being good but that's it. probably a lot more will come.

junho, mc's blood brother, he's supposed only to be a porter, a baggage carrier for the clan. unfortunately, mc did not want that. mc made him a hunter. his character is just amazing. sad and amazing. after being in debt, his wife leaves him and his son. he had to pay off his debts. apparently, even back then before the apocalyptic events, he gets often bullied. his only reprieve is through gaming and he usually goes berserk in the game world. when he awakened as a hunter for the first time, junho's class is butcher. he has this tendency to just go psycho when he holds a sword. i know there are a lot of character in other titles that is like this. when they go berserk they just go into frenzy and such and such. fortunately, his control only makes him target enemies and his other team mates sees to it he doesn't go full throttle.

also part of the clan is geuno, son of junho, nephew of mc. and granny sakja.. something.

then there's female lead candidates:

first is blondie.. i personally don't like her, i think? she's a tsundere.

then there's miso kim, the manager type to mc.

then the red haired girl, friend of both miso kim and blondie. she's aggressive in her approach towards mc. not much screen time. mc is chill with her.

then the muscle lady of england. the first woman whom mc gladly took to go dungeon raiding with him. mc is on good terms with her. not much screen time for her as well. if i'm right, mc sees her as a man and not a woman. this is due to physique of this muscle lady.

that's it.

the main purpose in the story are two things: one is to build up his territory, this include actual territory buildimg, tamimg animals for defense as well his use for summoning and beast form, and also training his subordinates; and lastly, to reunite with his friends from the other world.

this is a fun read. the concept is getting porter to a game world and being one of the minor character. the story is a bit cliche, with mc being one of the minor characters, with the intent of surviving, he goes on to the derail the whole plot of the story all the while wanting the story to keep on track. a bit like the usual regression stories of characters who wants to keep the story line the same but ending up making a whole mess.

how do I tackle this.. there are quite a few female lead, this is a harem story so bear with me.

the story starts with mc becoming the first enemy of the protagonist in the story. being the first enemy/villain in the original story of the gsme, the minor character that mc became gets defeated and lived a life of poverty until the end of the original story.

mc did not want that. mc decides to survive and stay in the academy they are in, all the while being in the forest outskirt of the academy. so mc became some sort of a squatter or something.

also, before mc transmigrated, mc's character is sort of a rude bully but is actually very weak, hence he's the first villain to the protagonist of the story.

i'll mentiom the characters that mc met as it would be easier.

princess penia, a royalty who have the power to discern lies. she's the reason mc gets kicked out of the dormitories. she has this sort of hate towards mc because of how he acted, but that is in the original story. but after mc transmigrated, somehow, she's becoming doubtful of her leadership as well the rumors about mc.

yennekar, the top 1 of the second years, an elementalist. first boss of the plot. she is a quirky and cheery young lady who is somehow interested in mc at the beginning of the story and later on became love, after the boss battle against her. female lead #1. she has elemental spirits that keep checks on mc. not check on power but actually checking up, surveillance, on mc.

lortel, the golden daughter, second boss of the plot. after the battle with yennekar, she showed herself towards mc. she became interested at mc because she thought he would help her get close with yennekar. but after a bit of the progression of the story, her desire to be allied with yennekar shifted towards mc. she saw mc as a potential ally. after the story line with her, lortel became like a tsundere with mc. she fell for mc when mc managed to save her during her story line crisis. mc and lortel have a mutual connection. mc wants supplies from lortel, lortel wants a bit of time with mc. lortel can appear flirty with mc but she herself is also, in fact, nervous when she does her antics. female lead #2

lucy, the magician student prodigy. in the early part of the story, this girl just suddenly appear and kept on staying in the vicinity of mc's small squatted land. mc just let her be. with little interaction, the relationship between her and mc is like a pet cat and an owner. mc is the owner amd lucy is the pet cat that mc can't do anythinf about her except feed her and give her a place to stay. she played a crucial role for mc in the first boss, yennekar. female lead #3? 

that's most of the girls mc is connected with.

story line

mc gets ported to the game world. mc became the hated character. mc gets kicked out of the dorm, but mc is still a student. mc knows what will happen in the original story. mc does not want that. mc plans on surviving and to do that he must first graduate.

mc goes to the forest in the academy area and settled there. mc practiced his magic skills as well his life skill to survive outdoors.

mc meets princess penia. the princess hated mc, the one before the transmigration. mc also did not want to be part of the story line but in order for him to get a good start, mc helps her with her quest. princess penia manages to secure the highest grade for the quest in the class. princess penia change a bit on how she sees mc.

mc meets two others who comes near mc's small squatted land, first yennekar who is a bit interested towards him. the spirits around her immediatrly trusts mc. then lucy, she likes to loiter and sleep in mc's make shift bed.

here there are already two things that got off from the original story. only? yennekar was supposed to acquire the forest's spirit contract. with lucy always staying at mc's place, lucy also got the forest's spirit contract. and the other one is, princess penia was not supposed to get the highest mark in the quest assignment in the class, and she's supposed to get placed in the lower grade batch but instead the princess got into the a team. (at this point, i don't know if an elemental could have multiple contracts with magicians/people so i said also, i assume that yennekar also has a contract with tgr forst spirit)

story continues and classes start after the break. then comes the magic duel. mc sees the match of taylee the original protagonist. he was supposed to win against lucy. unfortunately, with lucy having the forest spirit contract, lucy wins.

next mc vs princess penia. princess penia wanta to beat mc to submission? instead, mc let himself lose and surrendered. mc's thought is towards taylee. princess penia notices this. she was mad at first but seeing how mc is sincere with taylee, this is with her discerning eyes, princess penia let mc be.

mc ran after taylee and tries to support him taylee as well ayla, the childhood friend and partner of taylee, becames aggressive towards mc. at the moment, mc knew that taylee will keep on improving.

next match is lortel against yennekar. yennekar overwhelms lortel. yennekar is having bad feeling for hurting her opponent. she tried seeking a friend towards mc but because mc does not want to be involved with the main characters, mc pushes her off.

after a bit of time, the yennekar boss battle commence. mc gains an ally ziggs, a combat magician. this is thanks to mc saving elka? who is a childhood friend of ziggs.

the battle continue and the allies of good?? won. although mc lead the group, mc asked that he would not be mentioned. and that they should say that it was taylee and princess penia who took the lead.

when everyone left, mc went back to the boss stage and found yennekar who is alone and felt defeated. mc comforted her. after, yennekar gets absolved of her sins with the help of princess penia. after, yennekar grew her interest to love towards mc.

next is the arc for lotrel. the story in this arc is quite.. fast paced and good.. enough?

the arc ends with a few twists here and there. mc saves lotrel and helped her became the head for their merchant company. the character development of lotrel is a bit fast, i think? at first she thought that kindness us due to the fact that the other wants something in return, that is until after what happened. her mindset change when she asked mc what he wanted in exchange for helping and said that it's because that's what he wanted. this became the trigger of lotrel having her interest to blossoming into love?

although, mc did it because he wants the story to progress on how things went in the story line. at this point, no one else knew about mc being a transmigrator.

next is the appearance of mc's family rotsgeral.. something, this is after he got disowned.

the reason for the merchant arc happening is the magic tome the academy have. the academy is having a financial crisis and the tome is the sole thing that would help improve the situation. hence, lotrel's family wants to interfere with the academy. but that is not the whole story.

after lotrel became head of their company, the original buyer of the tome suddenly appear and also wants to get their hand on the tome. this buyer is the head of the rotsgeral.. mc's family.

in the original story that mc knew, the head is a boss much later in the story and he needs the tome to get a power up.

with a lot of things going on, mc collapsed and went to coma for ten days. this is probably a realistic to happen since from day 1 to this, there is not a day for mc to rest. and we're still on chapter 20'ish..

having ties with lotrel, when mc woke up, mc immediately asks lotrel to win the bidding. this is with his help, btw. this in exchange for mc being indebted towards lotrel. lotrel won the bid, the rotgeral faction retreat.

after waking up and getting a bit of his energy back, the first one to greet him is lucy. she's actually the one who's fixing mc's magic something in his body. and then ziggs. he's asked by lotrel to aid mc while they were all gone and because lotrel does not want any other girl being around mc. then yennekar. they all helped mc fixed the minor yet essential problems in his squatted lan.

after the day, yennekar stayed by mc's side, this is her plan to show her devotion towards mc. mc lets her be. having friends is good.

next day, lotrel appears to report what happened. lotrel is still aggressive with her flirts but mc is.. unrequiting it? if unrequiting is even a word, or if that is even what's actually in mc's mind. seeing how mc is still recovering lotrel decides to leave. when lotrel remembers something he should give to mc, lotrel return. lotrel sees yennekar going outside through the cabin house of mc. two FL's war on love..

but that isn't mc's focus. mc's thought is on the letters he got. one from the lotrel, a warning letter for mc to watch out for people out to get him. one from princess penia who wants to talk with mc regarding his family, the rotsgeral  and last one from a professor in the academy, professor glast.

previously, mc got investigated as he's suspected to be the mastermind in the lotrel arc. the professor saw something odd during a recorded video and it's about mc.

Not a new concept but the pacing and the story is simply exhilirating.

Mc is a platoon leader of a misfit squad of the army. The squad members are exceptionally skilled at their own specializations. Mc, however, has no remarkable talent or whatsoever, except for one thing, day reset.

First wall, in the start of the story, a clash of armies happened, mc is in among the front line, unfortunately, he gets killed. mc is in a abyss like place and gets face to face with death, a boat man, probably charon in the greek mythology who accompanies soul to the after life. Mc denies going with the boat man. mc wake up in the barracks, it was, again, the start of the same day. only this time, he recalled of what happened. cycle continues, mc keeps dying. this is sort of like the movie edge of tomorrow. mc gets to find out in and out of whats to happen during the battle except for one thing, there is always this one soldier who kept on killing him. it was the same soldier from the beginning to the Nth! time he came back. It was a wall he couldn't surpass. mc must learn skills.

Mc goes to his platoon member, rem, a barbarian. the training was done for just a day, except, mc came back a lot of time until he mastered beast heart. from this, we can say his day reset capability allowed mc to relive each day over and over again all the while mastering and learning whatever he wants to learn.

finally, mc faces against the wall, the same soldier who killed him over and over again and won. suddenly, a beast man appears, a frog man, mc got almost killed. thankfully, mc was saved by the rest of his crew. mc beat his first wall.

mc got injured in the clash amd was sent to the infirmary, here he met with two others, a leader of anothe squad and a man name cran.

second wall, days goes on until mc realized when one day he wake up it was the same day. mc got assassinated at night. day cycle, night time, mc tries facing the assassin but mc always get caught in surprise.

same scenario, mc sought help from one of his platoon member, mc gets gain detection skill using his hearing. after a few more cycle of die learn repeat, mc finally beat the assassin. mc gets to find out that cran might be a higher up in the army, and the army leader is an elf.

next days, with mc getting the attention of the elf commander from the assassin incident, he gets assigned as a member of a recon team. they are tasked to scout for enemies.

the recon team leader belittles mc, they get ambushed and got annahilated. things kept on going with mc learning of the best positions and strats in order to complete their mission or survive. finally when mc learned a lot of things amd set it to motion, mc took the lead of the recon team. instead of going back, mc lead the team to the enemy base, wrecked havoc and escape. mc saw his next wall, a platoon leader of the enemy army, unfortunately, the fight is put off. the recon team's objective was to scout and return. it left a bitter taste to mc for not being able to surpass the wall bit at least they managed to survive.

things have calmed in the barracks with the base being stationed closer to the enemy lines. mc decides to train, one of mc's squad member sees mc's determination and decide to teach mc swordsmanship. mc accepts the teaching, unfortunately, mc could get train more since they were all asked to go mobilize. another clash of army to happen.

on the moment of the battle, the two army faced each other. suddenly, a dark fog envelop the battle field. rem immediately know it was sorcery. mc sees this as an opportunity. mc will deliberately get killed, all the while learning tactics and strategy for the clash. and when mc dies and gets returned, mc will continue learning swordsmanship. it kept on going and going for about years and years until mc finally learned swordsmanship. on one instance of mc's death, mc met with the boat man and told how mc was foolish enough to crave for death.

when mc finally learn of what to do, mc asks rem about sorcery to which mc realized how to disperse the blinding fog. mc also gets told of a technique. unfortunately, mc needs real battle experience to learm this.

mc once again went to the battlefield with the intent of finishing the day, mc's main targets are the flags which the sorceror used to make the fogs. mc had to do it over and over again. mc also learn about the technique but it was pointless. until finally mc found the next wall.

the final flag that mc haven't yet reach is withi distance. mc is suddenly stopped by a knight. the knight recognizes mc but due to mc's multiple time of reset, mc did not remember the knight. before mc gets killed, mc realizes it was the knight, the platoon leader, that he faced but couldn't surpass during the recon scout mission. mc smiles, finally having reach the wall and the opportunity, once again to surpass it.

after a few cycle of die learn repeat, mc comes to realize and learn the technique his squad member trying to teach mc. it's like the observation haki in one piece, sole point of focus. it's a technique that can only be learned in the condition of having face death.

finally, the moment arrived when mc can finish the day. mc reports the sorcery of the enemy army to the army commander. mc's advice fell? on deaf ears. mc orders the people around him to stand guard during the fog, they obeyed. mc takes rem and the swordsman tutor in his platoon to accompany him. the squad members will take aggro from the rest of the opposing army while mc goes for the main objective, not the flag but the wall he wants to surpass.

third wall, mc vs enemy platoon leader. mc used his observation haki to beat the platoon leader, unfortunately, he wasn't able to get the kill since the enemy squads are surrounding mc. mc gets surrounded and beaten but mc continued on to the objective. mc manages to destroy the flag, the fog disappears. their army is now able to fight. unfortunately, mc is in deep enemy territory and he's surrounded. when he is about to be killed, a panther appears and save mc. suddenly, reinforcments arrives to support mc. but a dangerous soldier from the enemy ranks also appearsed. the allied soldier faces the dangerous soldier of the enemy but he was outmatched and got thrown. the pather who aided mc also got beaten. mc faces the dangerous soldier, using his observation haki as well a battle sense to copy partially the technique of the enemy platoon leader, mc managed to survived a heavy blow. the reinforcement charge behind mc. the enemy army were forced to retreat.

mc gets rescued. mc also took the beaten panther with him. mc falls unconcious while the clash between the two army raged on.

This is an axed/cancelled manga, or so what I heard. This manga is pretty interesting. The concept is nice.

The mc, while in the normal world, does a ritual to grant him magic powers. It is his lifelong dream to be able to use magic. Unfortunately, said ritual caused his death, or what was said. But the story goes on.

Mc gets isekai'd to another world. Mc is born to a lesser noble family. He has a hard working father, a loving mother and an adorable sister.

When mc woke up, mc realizes he is in another world. He became happy that at last, he got isekai'd and that he's able to wield magic in the future. Unfortunately this was thwarted when, after 3 years, mc inquires about magic to his parents. To his surprise, magic does not exist in this isekai world. Mc got his dream shattered.

Mc's sister, Mary/mari, notices this sudden paleness and sadness of mc. Mari led mc to a not far off river. When they got there, they notice strange light orbs going upwards. Mc realizes that magic does exists in this isekai world but it hasn't been discovered yet and so no progress with magic has yet been made. Mc's dream ignites once more. From time to time, the two siblings would go to the river. mc would investigate the light orbs whilr mari would help mc out. They also befriended Rose, daughter of the village elder.

After a while, they realize that the light orbs are coming from the fishes. Upon thorough invvestigation, the light orbs happen when two fishes falls in love, mating/courting cycle. Mc tries this out with his sister (yes, there is a bit of suggestive incestuous going on but please continue on). Suddenly, mc glowed. Somehow mc is able to use magic but it is at a very primitive/early stages.

When the sibling ask their father about the glow and the light orbs, unfortunately, the father couldn't see it. The children assumed the adults cannot see it and only the children can.

Story goes on, mc continues his magic research while Mari continues her sword training.

One day, they received news that goblins were sighted in their territory. The adult men formed a party to subjugate the demonic beast. With mc's knowledge and planning, mc got the one left in the village, children, women and less able men to stay in their barricaded house.

While they wait for raid to end, suddenly a goblin appear in the vicinity of their home. Due to a natural cause, the goblin breached the home. The life of the people inside were in danger. Mari tried to face the goblin but she was outmatched. Whem the goblin was about to deal a blow on Mari, their mother shielded her. Their mother took the brunt of the hit. Mari was in a state of panic. Without much thought mc lunged at the goblin. When Mc got closed, mc realized the goblin is emanating magic. Using his own magic power, mc was able to subjugate the goblin.

But the worse isn't over yet. Mari is in a panic state and their mother is in critical condition. Mc takes the lead. He calmed Mari down and ordered everyone who was able to help with their mother. With mc's basic knowledge with first aid, they managed to save their mother.

Next day, mc talked with his father about magic. The father now believes in mc. The father decides to help with mc's magic research. Mari on the other hand is in a state of.. mental exhaustion? after believing herself to be strong, only to be defeated and failing to protect her family. Mari tireless continues her path to sword. This causes worry among all of them in the household.

Thanks to Rose's help, mc was able to progress his magic research. After, mc had a warm family talk with Mari. This led to Mari going back to her cheerful self.

Mc's next stage in his magic research is infusing magic with element. First it was fire, mc was able to manipulate flame using his magic. But in order to fully create fire magic, mc needed a spark/igniter for it to work.

Next, mc decided to learn lightning magic. They had a help from their uncle?, a friend of their father who is a blacksmith. They were able to harvest thunder ores thanks to the insulator mc thought of. The thunder ores were used to help mc progress with lightning magic. At the same time, they were able to build two things, magiv lamps that lights up thanks to the thunder ores and the magic gloves that enabled mc to use fire and lightning magic withour using crude igniter and such.

Add to this the complex magic that mc discovered thanks to Mari. When infusing one element of magic to another element of magic a certain effect could happen. An explosion occured when Mari, unknowingly used air magic, while mc launch a fire magic.

Mc and mari aren't blood related?

Mari dearly loves his brother to the point that she would want to marry him. Mc does as well but due to it being a taboo, couldn't reciprocate. Instead, they promised each other to be alwayd together and they would not marry anyone else.

Although they became a trio, mc, mari and rose, Rose wasn't able to continue coming along with them because of her family being a head of a village.

Rose once wants mc to propose to her but mc wasn't able to becaude they ran out of time. at that moment, rose was called back to the village. After rose left, mari appear, and this is when the second previous paragraph happened.

Both Mari and Rose can use magic.

In the english translation, it was said magic is a new word, but they also talked about magical beast. Probably an error. They should'nt have said magical beast, instead demonic beast.

Aside the incestuous affair, the concept is very refreshing. The beginning of magic. Unfortunately this manga got cancelled, or so what I heard.

this is a bit of an intense manwha compared to the title I recently read. this is from webtoon

1-24

mc launches an attack against the demon lord. mc succeeds to beat waves of demons. When mc finally enters the demon lord's chamber, he finds out the demon lord's physical body is dead BUT the demon lord have now become a spirit. something mc is supposed ineffective against. mc is a physical type warrior.

mc disappears.. or so that's how the story goes. mc appears near a place where otherworld people (probably earth, the normal earth) gets summoned. the otherworld people gets put to a trial after getting summoned.

mc hides his identity. apparently, mc became known as the world greatest enemy or something. mc joins the trial. mc gets put in the white square, somehow a block where other summoned otherworlders are. the other blocks are blue.. something something.

in the white block there are three factions? the chosen ones, otherworlders that are specifically summoned since they have soul reincarnation connection to the fantasy world they are in; the normal summons, they are the normal ones; and lastly the gang people, they are lead by a gangster guy. with a bit of meddling, mc gets to join the chosen faction.

trials goes on and on, the main villain for this arc is supposed the leader of the chosen ones who gets turned to a werewolf thanks to the guide they were given. and also a hidden villain controlling the scene, the guide mage of the chosen one's werewolf.

point to remember, mc joins the trial in order to increase his magic stats, which in turn learns to be a wizard. wizard class is the only thing that could beat the demon lord in spirit forn.

after a quests, and training, mc manages to increase his stats, gain artifacts, and a subclass, alchemist

the trial at chapter 20-ish, ends withe werewolf chosen one dead but gets zombified by the mage guide. mc used this as an advantage to defeat the higher ups' plan to wipeout the 'white square: block.

white square win, things became settled. mc disposes one of the mage guide. mc gets to a hiddem quest given by a returnee from the future, that is also from the white square block. mc succeeds the hidden quest, the father of the dead werewolf chosen one comes to take revenge on mc. mc is the one who killed the werewolf chosen one. mc kills the father.

after, mc and the returnee takes a rest. the returnee explains to mc that she is a returnee from the future and she wants to get the hidden quest of one of the heroes in order to defeat a great evil. mc asks who this great evil she spoke of. the returnee tells mc it was the world greatest enemy, mc himself. but she didn't know about mc's real identity. mc is taken aback at the information he just got. mc vows to himself he won't become that. he goes to proceed to learn magic.

things not mentioned earlier:

mc has an ongoing quest from his subclass hidden alchemy quest, which is the alchemy book that is also the daughter of the alchemist hero, the eighth hero.

the post trial hidden quest went to is from one of the seven heroes, a wizard. in the hidden quest, it was revealed mc is looking for an item to revive the dead. mc wants to bring his dead daughter back.

there is a so called, extinction curse, probably different to everyone, mc's daughter died from mc. mc got afflicted by it, this in turned made mc's magic stat negative before the summon trials.

mc's main weapon is a hammer that can increase or decrease in size.

mc's first subclass, is cook. mc treats alchemy, his second subclass, just like cooking. even though he jusy recently acquired the alchemy subclass, mc is somehow proficient with alchemy.

after the trial, after mc fought against one of the mage guide, mc gained a loyal servant, a slave hunter.

Story starts with mc being alone after attending the funeral of his last known close relative, his mother. Mc goes on with his life. Until one fateful day, whilr on a session of workout in a gym, mysterious fellows attacked the place. As you can see, mc is something special, he can sense magic and the gym instructor he's friends with is actually a dragon. So back to the story, the gym gets attacked. Mc tries rescuing one of the gym goers, mc unintentionally activated his power, portal/spatial magic. A magic officer of GAR (.. g.. arcane.. r something, like a government agency for magical stuffs), happen to find mc. Although mc has been living as a normal human, mundane, the officer immediately suspect mc and took him to custody.

After the interrogation and learning that mc is innocent, they prepare mc to get drafted to GAR. mage are believed to be taught magic when they were still young, mc on the other hand is already an adult when he find out he is a mage. During the draft talks, mc prioritizes his freedom something the GAR cannot give to mc. GAR does want balance and peace? or something. But mc didn't want to get held back and bound. Mc manages to escapes. mc becames a rogue mage, something GAR targets.

Mc takes in a fake ID and goes to a far off country town, unknown to mc, it's full of shifters, werewolves or something. But they were on good terms with mc. one day, news of killing happen and the targets were the mundane, the normal people. a conflict happen between the vampires and the shifters in the town. mc gets drag in the mess when a friend shifter gets kidnapped. the shifter friend asks for mc's help. mc helps them out of good faith. the vampires gets eliminated.

few days after, since the vampire and shifter are supposed to be on a peaceful term, the GAR had to step in to manage the situation. GAR agents went to the country town to investigate. thinking that they could be suspecting of mc and might take him, mc flees the country town without anyonw knowing.

the shifters thinking that mc might hold it as a debt they owe to mc, they tracked mc and collaborated with mc. mc wants nothing to with anyone else, he just want to be not bound to anything, but at the same time, mc needs to learn magic. with a promise of getting help for mc with what he needs, mc sets out to defeat the vampire in the shifters' territories. mc does the task, mc gets an intel agent, lucy, and materials to help mc with magic.

while learning magic, mc also befriended a healer mage. mc faked as a teacher all the while learning the basics with the mage. how it happened is just.. magic.

unfortunately, the mage mc befriended is a grand daughter of a prestigious mage, and somehow, mc taught the healer a forbidden magic, which mc just, on a whim, thought about. the mage gets in trouble for learning the forbidden magic but thanks to her grand parent, she got it easy. unfortunately, mc gets taken in custody of GAR when mc decides to meet with the grand daughter and the GAR are already lying in wait for mc.

somehow with mc's magic and.. knowledge with magic (he's a rookie with magic but he's like a prodigy, he just makes things happen), mc escapes.

as mc run away from the GAR, mc finds mundane being chased by fae folks. mc helps the mundane and in the process killes some of the fae folks. these fae folks are royalties. mc gets targetted by some fae kings.

mc goes out of the country and to a portal to another world. mc goes to the dragon folks' world. mc meets with his gym instructor friend who told mc that no kne but dragons are allowed in the dragon world and that the best place for him is the vampire world.

mc goes to the vampire world. mc learns it not a good place for him. after getting materials from the vampire world, mc return back to earth. somehow, GAR peole caught up with mc. mc goes on the run and managed to escape. unfortunately, during the process, some mundanes were killed due to a mage from GAR going full force.

mc goes to america to make try making a base and have the materials he got made to equipments. mc phone lucy to help him out. somehow, the two are having a cute moment during their convo. mc need lucy's help with getting funds, lucy will get commissioned for help. lucy tells mc that the shifter leader will help him out.

mc makes teleport equipments and sold to the shifters, something that is supposed to be off radar, since it's known only one person could make them and she's an archmage in GAR?

unfortunately, trouble is brewing in the GAR. lucy is an employee of GAR, and during the investigation and cases of mc, GAR does a sweep of people related to the case. Lucy manages to get off suspicion but the agents in charge of the investigation still have Lucy in the list. lucy is unaware of this.

in a call, lucy tells mc of what happened in the GAR. lucy also informed mc of the mundane he helped from the fae folks, the mundanes are being interrogated in a US branch. mc have the heroic sense of wanting to save the mundane, mc asks lucy for help. lucy connects mc to a fae folk who is on bad terms with the GAR as well as other fae folks.

mc managed to have a deal with the fae folk. mc will help the mundane in GAR's custody and the fae folk will take them in. the fae folk will take credit? for the mischief.

I stopped here. chapter 44

mc is a learning prodigy when it comes to magic and tactics. he has a sense of duty to help the mundanes but most of all those in need.

things not mentioned earlier:

mc's known parents weren't his actual parents but his grand parents. mc's mother left mc to them and mc's father is still unknown, the dragon gym instructor knows of the story of how mc's mother leave, returned pregnant with mc, and once again leave, leaving mc behind. mc's grand parents are goos people and the reason as to why mc has this sense of heroic duty.

the forbidden magic mc taught to the healer mage is reverse healing. instead of healing and fixing, the magic concentrate the healing magic which in turn burst the insides of the target.

mordite materials are something items that could hurt other worldly beings and this is what could be used to make magic ite.s, this is what mc gathered in the vampire world. mc made teleporters from the gathered materials. this he sold the shifters.

teleporters are made only by the spatial archmage of the GAR. same spatial archmage is looking for mc. as mentioned, mc is able to create a teleporter.

mc's knowledge about the teleporter is due to the help of the healer mage. she let mc see the teleporter her father used. in a short moment, mc is able to understand the teleporter.

teleporter/home bound is different to mc's portal/spatial magic. teleporter is like a warp point that can warp a person or a group of people tp a designated place. mc's portal can go just about anywhere as long as it is within mc's reach.

mc's spatial magic, along with his learning and training (all self taught), allows mc to see things around him. like a byakkugan i  naruto. mc can manage his portal sizes. with this set up, mc can assassinate others with surprises attacks.

the archmage for spatial magic desperately wants mc. The GAR is hunting mc as a rogue mage. the fae folks is hunting mc for the killed royalties. the vampires detests mc.

lucy is a quirky gal that likes to flirt with mc. when mc respond to it, lucy is having romantic thoughts with mc. during the sweep for a mole in the GAR, lucy managed to get off suspicious by not mentioning mc's name but by telling she does collab work, or something, with her lover. this interrogation is under a truth serum spell. although the officer in charge of the interrogation still suspect lucy.

Have to stop at chapter 66, it goes more beyond that but things just went off from the premise/title before the guerilla training arc.

Mc, jinsung, has this dilemma and sort of a problem. To start of the world building is amazing, there are no hunter or monsters but a simple alternate world where magic, skills, abilities and techniques are real and they're called Ideya. Ideya is the manifestation of this thins and they are divided in ranks. s/ss or above is highest until f the lowest. And there is also combat ability that is like a physical capability of the person, this also gets divided in rank, same as ideya. Aside this, there is a hierarchichal prejudice when it comes to rankings. your social value is proportionate to your ranking. if your ideya and combat ability is low, society thinks lowly of you. But do not fret, ideya and combat ability can increase with training.

Back to the story, mc has this problem and he has to hide his true ideya rank. In turn, he gets treated poorly by his colleagues. Although mc sometimes let himself loose, it's for him to escape bullying.

mc meets with ahnseyoung, a person just like mc with "weak" ideya but simply improved himself to get the title of ace in their school. during a match mc and his team went up against ahnseyoung. ahnseyoung comes out rude at mc but somehow mc showed a bit of his power. ahnseyoung becomes interested in mc, ahnseyoung and mc are both male btw. ahnseyoung sees mc as a prospect training buddy.

mc then meets seyun, the possessor of the goblin ideya, something like a renowned hereditary ability. seyun shows interest towards mc and sees him as husband candidate. seyun is female.

bank robbery arc, mc, seyun along with there classmate is sent to off school activity and that is guard duty to a bank. things are going smoothly until robbers/terrorist arrives. mc hides. seyun faces the terrorist. seyun gets overwhelmed from the terrorist lead. witg things going bad, mc manages to lure the terrorist to a 1v1 match. mc overwhelms the terrorist. unfortunately, the terrorist lead manages to escape thanks to one of mc's school bully. mc in his true ideya form, ran after the school bully but he was stopped by seyun.

let's talk about mc's ideya. mc's ideya is ranked f, a normal dagger. nothing much, just a dagger. but that isn't just mc's ideya. mc has a second ideya, rank s, murder. mc changes personality to a psychotic bloodlust filled murderer and his target will always be the closest human. thanks yo the murder ideya, mc's combat ability reaches s rank as well. unfortunately, mc does not have control of himself and will indiscriminately go to a murderspree, whether foe or ally. will only stop if mc's bloodlust gets satiated or gets knocked out.

mc wakes up, and was fearful for seyun, although mc is in frenzy, mc remembers everything that happened. fortunately seyun is fine. mc vows to get strong. mc goes to ahnseyoung for training.

guerilla arc, mc forms a bond with the team given to him. the team is named, zombie horde, as they are lowest of the low ranks but through their will, they keep pushing through despite how rough up they become through training. also in this arc, the clear discrimination is shown, from the instructors and even the principal of the school. in the final showdown, the trench battle, the zombie horde showcased their growth from their low rank and their loyalty to mc. mc won the battle despite being called fake and even the reporter that covered the event was even said to have been bribe to make mc look good despite not being true.

next is the terrorist arc, after the guerilla training, a new character appears, the husband candidate picked by seyun's family for her, petch. seyun does not like petch. they all misunderstood mc. they thought it was mc who is seduced seyun. in fact, it was seyun who was taking the initiative towards mc. and mc is going along. petch as well seyun's family belittle's mc, this is thanks to the fact that mc is still f rank and not much info is still revealed about him to many. mc and petch had a first spar. petch rudely belittle mc. mc reveals a bit of his power. petch is taken aback to what he witness but still, he is not satisfied with mc being seyun's choice of husband to be.

meanwhile, certain terrorist group is brewing their act. first there was a giant bear that is believe to be an ideya, that wrecked havoc. south korea's greatest, li xinwin.. something managed to faced off against it.

back to the school, mc had another confrontation with petch. mc goes almost all out. mc understood why petch is the chosen candidate for seyun. petch has a plunderer ideya, seyun's family does not like the armor ideya of seyun and that's why they plan on having petch take the hereditary goblin ideya of seyun.

a bit of self though regarding seyun's ideya. her ideya is the goblin spirit swordsmanship. but instead of going all offensive, seyun does not like doing harm  so instead of this, seyun focuses on the defensive capability of her ideya. or something like that.

back to the round 2 of mc vs petch. mc goes almost all out, mc wins. after the match, petch reveals to mc that seyun's family wants to speak with mc. mc has no say to this. mc went and spoke with the family head of seyun. they still think mc is not a good match to mc. mc does not focus on denying it, instead, mc tells them off and that seyun should be able to choose her path.

this is again in my understanding, seyun's family wants her to become an all offensive goblin ideya user, this is despite the fact that seyun's swordsmanship and combat ability subpar. add to this that seyun, is more like a pacifist or something? she does not like hurting others, although she seemed that way since that is how her upbringing is.

seyun appears, the family head orders mc to never meet seyun again and that seyun will be doing evening patrols with petch, this is something because of their family is a military, government something? that protects the country. mc denies this order and even say he'll go on patrol with seyun.

night patrol happen, nothing much happen. the terrorist group, peste/pestillence something continues to brew their plan.

this terrorist group, peste, are also the ones behind the bank robbery arc.

one night, mc takes a day off for the night duty. seyun and petch are left to go on patrol. petch is going to confess to seyun? but it was stop when an alert came telling that the terrorist group launch their plan. in the middle of the city, a giant winged lion is wrecking havoc. the two goes to respond. meanwhile, mc is in the club of ahnseyoung, they are traning along with the zombie horde. suddenly they also got the alert of the terror attack. they are supposed to handle crowd control of the civilian. mc had a bad feeling, ashnseyoun let mc go fimd seyun.

meanwhile, seyun's family who are the first to respond to the scene gets defeated. seyun's aunt, the predecessor to the goblin ideya gets killed. the family head was about to get killed when seyun and petch arrives and managed to rescue him. unfortunately, the winged lion is just too overpowered. seyun is in a dazed state because of what happened to her family, petch is strong but not enough. seyun, regains composure. she face the winged lion, it wasn't enough. petch takes the ideya of seyun's family head, the imagination creation ideya, it's not enough. when they thought all hope is lost, mc suddenly appears.

seyun gets mad at mc for appearing and asks mc to runaway. mc reject the idea. mc faces the winged lion. mc immediately goes to phase 2. it wasn't enough. mc goes to phase 3 not enough. mc goes phase 4. (i think that's what happened? 3-4 phases? or maybe just 3) when mc goes full berserk, the winged lion became a pin cushion. at this point mc's murder ideya, rose from s rank to ss rank. mc is able to conjure mythical stuffs for him to use. runfortunately, somehow, the murder ideya became some sort of not just bloodlust but also became sadistic. the human priority is also high but still, if provoke, he will go to the nearest target, and the one that provoked mc is the winged lion.

after a bit of flashback to mc's trauma and a bit of the battle scene, mc manages to pin the winged lion to the ground and made a pin cushion out of it from the mythic items mc conjured. the lion is alive but severely beaten and is unable to move. suddenly, rescue/response teams appears. one of them is school doctor who mc respects well. under the effect of the rank ss murder, mc kills the other rescuer and gave the school doctor traumatic memory. the school doctor is alive after this arc btw :) the wing lion died and disappeared at this point btw. seyun appears, mc also gave her a traumatic memory, she's also alive after the arc.

i'm saying traumatic because is just totally psychotic at this point and just very.. mental.

other rescue/response team arrived, mc is still in that rank ss murder state. mc was about to go murderspree when seyun stabs mc at the back.

forgot to mention, the rank ss murder ideya of mc, is something like a double edge mental state. mc wants to kill but he also wants to kill and this paradox of a mental state frees him of something holding him back? or something. so seyun back stabbing mc is very much what he also what he wanted.

fortunately, after seyun stabbed mc, mc was fine and returned to his normal state. unfortunately, what had just happened suddenly came back to mc. mentioned earlier, although mc loses control of himself, he remembers everything that happened. mc goes into a shock.

mc wakes up on a hospital bed. seyun is beside him. before the two could talk more. li xuwin, south korea strongest, briefs mc of what happened.  seyun had to leave first. mc is called a disaster class person of the country but despite this he is recognized as a hero. they all thanked mc for what he did.

i stopped here.. so, the title just stopped from pretending as a worthless person and go to clearing my name or something.. the story is nice and all btw :)

this is an amazing read. it's comparable to one piece, imo, when it comes to world building as things expands from the first chapter to the next and so on.

the first arcs revolves around mc, choi hyeungseo??, and his path to becoming the servant of the goddess of balance, a constellation that can foresee a bit of the future. Unfortunately for the goddess, mc went off track and instead of becoming a servant, he himself became a constellation. took him thousands and thousands of years in the abyss as he thought himself was actually training for the goddess but in truth, he got swept off to another place and had to face off difference overwhelming amd life-threatening obstacles. I would have to repeat, him being swept off is not what the goddess planned but even still, mc still thought of everything were part of his training to becoming a servant of the goddess. until he met another constellation, madness and blood?? and fought against the constellation servant. after winning the battle, the servant of the other constellation reveals to mc that he should become a constellation himself and that him training is actually no longer on the path of just a servant but beyond. surprisingly, during that convo, mc reveals that he is actually having doubts whether what he was doing was actually just servant training. and so, mc decides to be a constellation.

then he met the cat blacksmith and the desire and dream kid, both are constellation. mc forms an alliance with the two. then mc goes on to travel i  the abyss searching for a way back to earth and all he had in mind is the prophecy foretold by the goddess of balance that evil constellation are going to earth to gather followes which in then turn to nourishing or supplying them strength. mc fought vs two or three? other constellation and thus becoming his underlings.

during his travel, mc went to an earth like planet but is populated by goblins. mc saves them which made the goblins indebted to mc. mc refuses but the goblines insists. in the end, mc acquires his second follower, the goblin king odaigon. the first follower mc had is the rock serpent, onix and its kins.

mc and odaigon continues travelling until they stumble upon a dimensional gate? the two enters the gate. during that time, the same gate is actually connected to a gate an american team is doing a dungeon raid, the team of.. something parker. the american teams gets overwhelmed, gets stucked inside the dungeon. luckily, mc and odaigon rescues them. before they could meet, mc already ordered odaigon to transform into a human since, as mc explained, have prejudice against other kind and might attack odaigon on sight. the rescue happens, they got out. and after a bit of briefing and testing, mc found out 30 years have passed in earth although mc travelled and fought forever in the abyss, the otherworld, mc is sent to train, like 10k years or more?

(mc had his hunter rank assessed and found out he was just c+, not much different from before he went to the other world. story goes on, there's a prejudice against martial arts user and its the fault to the chinese hunter, whom mc idolized, who faked his own rank. but mc didn't care he has a mission and that is to stop the constellations from reaching earth.

unfortunately, mc is already too late and the constellation, both the good and the bad, have already reached earth. mc was advised to hide his true self as a constellation, and instead his as just a servant under his constellation.) - i don't remember how things just proceed but that's just it.

mc then meets up with his former guild leader, dragon gyeonleong, a naturalizd americans class hunter. dragon became a big shot after leaving korea and becoming an american. after a while mc made dragon his first human servant.

things proceed, mc, all the while undercover as a servant under  his constellation title, went to spread martial arts and spreading goodwill. (first gen hunters just like mc and dragon, have the sense of duty of helping, the latter gen hunters do things for fame and money).

mc fought off against the parker group and their mischievious acts in order to gain economic supremacy but only to be always stop by mc under the company of dragon, the other evil constellations seeking to take hold of earth and wreaking havoc and so and so on.

during these times, mc made great friends as well comrades, mc met with the naturalized american martial arts clan who have elites under mc. mc became the leader of a raid team managed by dragon's company. mc met up with leaders of other countries who he have good, france, and not so good ties china. mc met up with the daughters of his ex lover, one is a korean a rank hunter and another is a hunter under a powerful constellation on the good side. there is also the sloth constellation, she made mc her successor, and the ice queen constellation that are is interested in mc. mc meet with evil constellation face off against them and won, such as the contract constellation whom he easily defeat but made a temporary alliance, the collecter constellation that oozes bad vibes and is just straight up evil, the explosion constellation that gains power the more chaotic things happes (he is a bad guy), then there's other constellation that are just there as fodder for him but mc is able to make connections with them? somehow.

all this time, mc only revealed his true self to his servants and no one else, i think? he keeps it hidden since it's not normal for a constellation to be actively and personally joining mortal affairs.

aside from this consequential events there are also themes like sport which is the MoBA version of hunters. mc also has a team. they lost the first match mc joined the battle since he doesn't know much about the game. mc got his other former hunter clan member to be the coach of mc's moba team, choi hyunsik? he's also the second human servant mc made.

latest (181) a fight vs the explosion constellation that just recently wrecked havoc in the territory of contract constellation whom mc had a secret temporary alliance with. they are on constellation territory war, treasure hunt. mc along with his team, the few of the mount hua sect, as well a team from the angel constellation whom mc had an alliance, goes to face the explosion constellation.

treasure hunt, constellation territory war, is like finding a hidden artifact by the territory owner. once the artifact is claimed the reign of the owner of the territory is removed.

also during this time, mc absorbs a domain seed and acquires nobility. not much is mentioned about it yet.

the treasure hunt of the explosion constellation gears towards making people fight each other which makes things more chaotics and as mentioned earlier, explosion constellation gains more power when more chaos happens. mc leads the raid along with other raid teams. when explosion constellation reveals how he defeated the contract constellation, mc in his constellation form, met up with the explosion constellation and demand a constellation battle. the theme is clan battle.

constellation battle is like an duel/battle between constellatuon, there can be exhibition matches which promises constellation money, soul stones, or in most cases a battle to gain or lose constellation power, sort of like a rank match.
