chapter 1

mc just finished work and was about to meet his junior at work. He was asked to give him advice since he will be marrying his gf. When they meet, mc felt awkward since he has never been in a relationship and his junior is going to be married. Mc teases the gf but the intern knew it was just mc's playful attitude. After deciding to go talk elsewhere, an attacker suddenly appeared and stab mc. After some system interview, mc gained rpg skills and the body of the slime. His three note worthy skills are Great Sage, an ai system voice that gives answers and advice to mc, Predator, the ability to swallow things and in turn either to store them in mc's body or use them as sustenance or even analyze them and lastly, Parallel Linking, the ability to link his abilities with one another in order to enhance them.

After the system interview, mc was unaware of where he was and only had an inkling of what became of him all because he was blind . After a bit of movement and trying out. Mc have accepted himself becoming a slime with the help of his system, Great Sage, as well his knowledge about games in his previous life. At first, mc was just storing the grasses he comes across using his predator skill, when mc was prompted by the system to be link both the sage and predator, mc was able to manufacture healing potion. mc experimented with his skills for a bit and then he proceeded with the manufacturing. Then suddenly, on mc's blind adventuring, he fell into a lake. Mc thought he was about to drown but system mentions he do not need to breath, he was a slime after all. MC then decided to play with the water and he made a skill that helped him propel out of the water but it was his first time. Mc couldn't control his power and so it propelled him to the dragon Veldora.

At first mc didn't know how to speak, since it was Veldora that spoke to him first. Mc was rude at first and since he couldn't see who he was talking to, mc felt Veldora was only a normal sentient being. Veldora tells mc that he was the strongest dragon but he was sealed by a powerful Great Hero. Other things they talked about are the different races as well the higher beings, their inability to reproduce, their immortality, their view on other races and such. He tells their were also 3 other dragons beside him. He also tells about his fight with the great hero. Mc then deduce that Veldora was kind to human beings and won't attack or kill unless provoked.

Mc was then asked about himself. At first he was reluctant but mc obliged. They talked about mc's past live and until how he was stab and got to be a slime. It seems mc did not mention some of his skills though. They also talked about the possibility of how mc got transferred to the magic world. And also of otherworlders that arrived much like mc. After their talk, Veldora made a deal with mc. He will help mc able to see but mc have to not be afraid when he sees Veldora and he will visit Veldora from time to time. Mc became surprised when he saw how giant Veldora was.

When mc was about to leave, he tries if he could break the seal that was holding Veldora. It was explained that Veldora's existence is slowly withering away. He could break out of the seal spiritually but by doing so will break his soul apart and making his soul essense dissipate into the air. Perhaps he may be reborn but as a different creature and without any prior memory he already have. Veldora was okay with though. But mc is not. He found a friend and he does not want anything to happen to him. They then conclude that a transfer body is needed for when Veldora escapes his prison. Both of them agreed. Then mc asks Veldora if he would rather be swallowed by mc and stay with him until they could find or make a new body for Veldora. The dragon obliged and let himself be stored inside the body of mc. Inside mc, he will use his skills in order to analyze the prison Veldora was sealed in. Also, since Veldora was somehow leaking prior to mc meeting him. Inside him, Veldora will just stay inside mc.

Mc sets out in order to find otherworlders.

Meanwhile, with the sudden disappearance of Veldora's presence, a certain barrier broke in the forest that the cave mc was born in. There were monsters movements in the territory, the Jura forest. Even the nation surrounding the area somehow saw it as an opportunity for invasion. The baron Veryard felt the need for reinforcement from the adventurer guild for the possibility of invasion of either their neighboring kingdom or of the monsters that have ran rampart in the Jura forest territory. Fuze talks about their agreement as the adventurer guild as well as the guild being not part of the government. The two ended with Fuze agreeing to the terms and the baron giving a reasonable compensation.

In this chapter as well, the backstory of Shizu Izawa was told, being an otherworlder from a war era. She was summoned by the demonlord Leon Cromwell. When she arrived in the world, she was almost abandon by her summoner. With her desire to survive, she tried questioning and challenging the demonlord. The demonlord was impressed. He gave her a choice of getting power but she has to endure it. Ifrit was summoned to possess Shizu's body. Probably it will eat away at her soul or something.
