#level zero scavenger work as gate cleaners. they go in after the gate raiders enter. the level zero will fetch and collect drop loots. they are poorly treated with respect and pay.
#level zeroes can level up but that is either stealing kills or killing critically wounded monsters. the method is very inefficient and often times hazardous to the level zero.

1 mc is told by a friend to join on a a bit higher pay location. since mc needed money to pay off his debt and to pay the medical fee for his sister, he join immediately. the location is a b rank gate. the job is scavenging as well retrieving the items of a group that recently entered but were wiped out. mc and the other scavengers arrives, joins the raiders and enters the gate. the team raids the inside. mc is almost at the next level.
2 the level zeroes got caught by a monster left behind by the attack group. mc faces the monster. mc deals zero damage. mc does not give up. the attack team is distributing loots the got. meanwhile, mc manages to defeat the monster. one of the attack group arrives. mc levels up to level 1 and changed job but it was his max level already. mc tries using his skill. mc absorbs a monster and gains a skill. mc sees other monster corpse. he absorbs them.
3 mc gains attributes points from the same monster corpse. after a while, mc got 111 attribute points free to be allocated. mc evenly distributed the points to each of his skills. the attack team discuss about mc's recent level up and job change. they thought it worthless. the attack team pushed through the raid. they reached the mission location and found the wiped team. suddenly, monsters appeared. a news outside reports the gate they are in have changed rank. the boss appears and the dead bodies suddenly turned to zombie. meanwhile, mc is doing his scavenging job, he got an achievement thanks to his new job and a bonus item. a level 1 dagger. suddenly, a zombie attacks mc. mc manages to dodge.
4 the attack team is getting wiped out. lao chen the leader, wanted to survive. he sacrificed his team just to get out. lao chen bumped into mc. mc just defeated a bunch of zombies. lao chen tried attacking mc. lao chen got hurt in the process. mc uses his scavengrr skill on lao chen. it failed. instead, mc temporarily gains lao chen's ability. mc uses the skill, the skill incinerated a lot of monsters. mc fights a zombie atrack team. mc notices a recently dead attack team. mc scavenge the dead attack team and acquires a new skill. with his new skill, mc defears the zombie attack team. mc scanvenges the defeated zombie, mc gains a new skill.
5 mc faces the zombie horde, gains new abilities and then faces the boss. after, lao chen, is being interrogated. lao chen tells about mc. the interrogators found no data about mc and lao chen's level is reduced to level 1. the interrogators did not believe anything lao chen said. after the shenfeng gate incident, mc stole the crystal loots and sold them to the blackmarket. mc managed to pay off his debt from the loan sharks. mc feels the need to go incognito while doing more job. mc needed more money by the time he gets find out. mc thought if he gets found out for having a hidden job, he will locked up and experimented/researched on for at least a year. mc joins a raid for a b rank gate. the raiders laughs when mc told his job and level. mc almost didn't make it until someone famous let mc in. the lady who helped mc join the raid is actually someone mc helped before.
6 the raid team breezes through the gate with mc's aid. the team occasionally asks how mc does his thing, mc answers he just because he has many experience being a scavenger. the raid team enters an empty room with a tablet and a cup filled with blood in the middle. one of the member thought the gate is a reward room but they were actually in a trap. one of the member activates the trap. monsters suddenly appear. mc wears an stat reduction ring. mc's stat is at 25%. mc fights and one shots monsters. mc is noticed by lady who helped him join the raid. the lady does as well. the same can't be said with the rest of the raid team.
7 the lady reprimands the weak raid team members. mc uses a magic skill he got from lao chen which he evolved and now permanently his? one of the member notices it and was shock that a level 1 is able to use an s grade spell. mc goes cqc. the monster replicates mc's stats. the lady who helped mc in the raid takes over mc's target. she is in a pinch and used her skill. the lady, liu xingran, vs the evolved monster. mc and the rest of the team standby and watch the battle.
8 liu xingran can't match the evolved monster. mc takes over. liu xingran goes to the side. mc cancels his stat reduction and goes full force. nothing is effective vs the evolved monster. mc realizes the tablet from the beginning. mc checks it. mc uses it to immobilize the evolve monster. liu xingran came to mc and ask who he was. mc remind liu xingran who he was. liu xingran remembers. the raid team then goes for the counter on the trap and the evolved monster.
9 the raid team prepares for the battle. the immobilize effect on the evolved monster wears off. the raid team goes for the offense. their target id the tablet inside the evolved monster. the attack is going as planned but suddenly, mc slipped and got thrown off. mc uses his skill on himself. mc got denied. mc planned this. mc gets launched to the evolved monster.
10 mc gets launched to the monster. mc manages to snatch the tablet within the monster. the raid team defeats the monster. the raid team levels up, except for mc. mc sees the loot dropped, they were all uselss to him, they have level requirement, mc is at max level 1. liu xingran wants mc to do the loot distribution mc requested for something else. mc tells liu xingran to buy all the items from him as well the collected magic crystals, on a discounted price at the condition that liu xingran will tell that she did the gate alone and that mc was never with them from the start. mc will stay inside the dungeon and leave afterward. liu xingran and the raid team leaves the gate and does what mc told her. meanwhile, inside the dungeon, mc uses his skill on the boss. after a while, mc checks the loots he kept. mc is glad that he only has low level equipment. it will free him from the suspicion of the abyss committee. while checking his item, mc accidentally uses his skill on an item. it became a point. mc receives a tutorial about the points. mc can use his skill on items to get points. the points will be used to make new items ir repair items. mc repairs his broken dagger. the dagger got fixed and also it improved. mc saw the need for this new system. mc also received a reward for doing the tutorial. the reward is a blue print for a mana and fatigue potion.
