1, mc (tweight) defeats the demon lord. but since he's part of underground group, all contribution is given to the heroes. the underground is abolished since war is over. mc chose to lead a normal life, his onee chan acts as his manager tells him to go to school to be a normal teenager. mc agrees.
2 first day of school. mc wanted to go to commoner class but end up taking examination for hero class. mc meets a fellow examinee (elicia) who wanted to defeat the instructor who joined the battle royale for the examination. mc is a supporting fire, he snipes the instructor (farneez) while fellow student takes the front line.
3 the two defeated the instructor. mc failed the exam and he got into the commoner class. during class, mc met with the fellow student who questioned him being in the commoner. they met with the instructor and explained why mc failed. since he was not seen by the magic camera there was no evidence he did anything during the examination. mc explained it was his habit. the fellow student wanted mc to go join the hero class so she could have a training partner. mc declines and tells it was his decision to stay in common class. during a class, mc showed his intellect. a hero student got mad at him. but mc let it be. the fellow student asks mc to be his training partner, mc declined but mc tells her they could be friends. the fellow student agrees. they also got another chance upon friend, a muscle guy (glan/gran) from the common class.
4 during class, the instructor tasked the student to use magic in a target practice. mc wanted to use a lower class magic but the instructor tells tglhem to use higher class. mc fails the target practice. the student who got jealous of mc became rude to mc and belittles him. the muscle friend wanted to defend mc but mc let it be. muscle friend tells mc to go hang out in town. they met up with their fellow classmate, the hero trainer partner wanna be and another class idol. while they had lunch, the rude student made a scene nearby. the training partner wannabe wanted to deescalate the situation but the rude student suddenly launch an attack against them. mc stopped the fight using a low class magic and defeated the rude student. training partner wannabe questions the magic used. mc explains his magic is optimized to be strong. she asked who mc really is. mc stuck with his lie that he is a town janitor.
5 next day, the rude student was absent. mc assumes he's just healing from injury mc caused. somehow, partner wannabe wanted to engage in a relationship with mc. mc teases her. the following day, the rude student suddenly appeared and demanded a duel. mc wanted to decline since it's a hassle for him. but the rude student kept belittling the common course students. also, the partner wannabe asked mc to accept. mc accepts. before the duel starts, mc finds out that the partner wannabe just wanted mc to show off his skill. durijg the match, the rude student show cased a hero weapon. mc immediately dealt with it. then mc demanded, with coercion, that the rude student should behave as well orders his lackey to follow. mc was a force to be reckon.
