1.1 mc is practicing the swords, he gets bullied but mc let them be until the bully, doriel a master swordsman, insult's mc's mother. he couln't not let it pass. mc challenges doriel to a duel. doriel accepts on the condition if mc lose, he quits school. mc accepts. as mc trains he felt what he is doing is futile, until an old man, mc calls hermit of time, appears and talks to him. the hermit tells mc that he a solution for him. he presents the million year button to mc. with a pressed of a button, mc will be teleported to a different world/dimension unbound by time. there mc couls train for a hundred million years, lifespan (and perhaps age) is not consumed here and there are unlimited foods and a house for mc. at first mc was reluctant and did not believe the hermit but he pushed the button anyway. he is suddenly transported to a different world.

1.2 mc gets transported to another world. mc trains there for 100 million years. after a few years it was alright then at thousands or so he suddenly lost it. a few more he gained back his desire. then finally the time is up, mc is back once more beside the time hermit as if nothing happened. mc feels that his training is still not enough, he asked if he could still continue to use the 100 million year button. the time hermit gave it to mc and let him ise it as he please. mc used it once more. it was morning already when mc woke up, he felt all that had happened was just a dream. poro san, tells mc to have breakfast at the olace he stays in. he finds the button but thinking it was all just a dream, he threw away the button. as the button lay on the ground it broke. mc eats breakfast and poro san tells mc if he's planning to go to school. he checked the time and felt he wouldn't make it to school for the duel. mc rushed and arrived an hour earlier foe the duel. mc heada to the duel to find the school as an audience, mc did not know there will be many who will watch. in mc's mind, somehow although he's going to do hisnbest, he feels like he will still be beaten. the teacher was also going to be a referee. mc thinks that even the school was on it too. everyone wants mc to drop out. at the start of the fight, mc unknowingly puts pressure vs doriel. doriel unleashes his attack, mc dodges it. doriel uses a ultimate, mc counters and defeats doriel. mc won the battle. he just realized the button is true. he did train for many years.

2.1 next days, mc is spread to have cheated in his match. the students shows resentment vs mc. mc let them be. mc then remembers his mother and is determined to go back home during vacation but he's short in money. he asked pora san for advice. she tells mc to join a swords tournament. pora san even lent mc money for the registration fee. mc went to register and join. as mc tries looking for the tourney place, some participant mocked mc. mc apologized and let them be since if mc cause and mc, he might not be able to join which would probably break pora san's trust to mc. mc registers and when he was asked what style he uses, he said none. somehow theres a talk about having no style or having ones own sword style. before the tourney starts mc decides to practice. mc saw a beautiful girl.

2.2 a shady girl appears looking for "another great swordsman." as the tourney begin, mc is surprised that it's different from what he expected. the shady girl is actually the president of the thousand swords academt, leia lastinote, she is given a special vip seat in the tourney. somehow, leia lastinote's main objective is to recruit swordsmen. she eyes the previous winner of the swords tournament. the first match of the tournament is mc vs the participant he had an issue before registering, bubble domingo. with one sword wave, mc sent bubble domigo out the ring. mc won. the audience was surprised and mostly had no clue what had happenes.  leia lastinote is impressed as well the previous grand prize winner, rose valencia.

3.1 as mc is declared victor. his doubt of his strength is fading. he really felt he got stronger. after five mire fights with all victorious, mc faces off vs rose valencia. mc is wary of his opponent but when they clash sword, mc comes out on top. rose valencia feels the strength of mc's training as she readies to unleash her ultimate.

3.2 mc sees the strength of rose valencia's attack but he knows it's has it's vulnerabilities, mc used an attack to counter. mc won the clash and won the tourney. gew days later, back at school, mc is called to the director's office. he thoight it was about the rumor of him cheating vs doriel in the duel. but mc's wrong. mc is being recommended to enter thousand sword academy a prestigious school. mc entering it would garner popularity for the school. the director even says that they believed in mc feom thw start. but mc knew they were lying. mc tells them he'll think about it. few day later, after bidding farewell to pora san and the trophy he won in the tourney, mc heads back home to his mother. after 3 years, mc has finslly returned. as mc catch up with his mom, he asked advice for what to do. she tells him to follows what he wants to do and join the thousand swords academy. mc is surprised to hear that his mom knew what mc wanted. as they spent more time dinner. later on a scene of the time hermit can be seen having a convo with mc's mom.

4.1 while mc takes a bath in his mom's house. his mom attacks the time hermit. the hermit evades and disappears. suddenly takeji burst in looking for the time hermit, they suspect of mc using the button. there is something that they, mc's mom and takeji, do not like about hermit and the possible connection mc has with him. they have to find a way to seal the time hermit (somehow). 2 days later mc left the village of goza to return back to his school life. he accepts the recommendation and after the interview he got admitted to the thousand sword academy. he told pora san about the news and he sent a letter to his mother. few weeks later, mc had to leave pora san's inn. he can't take her enough for being always there for mc. pora san is like a second mother to mc in his school life, while his away from goza. after bidding farewell, mc heads out to the city. he heads to his dorm room. changed to his uniform and heads out.

4.2 mc iverhears other students that there are three students who got admitted through recommendation. he's one of them. mc wants to live a normal student lifw, not stand out and is determined to keep his recommendation a secret. during the orientation, leia lastinote, the president if the school announces the names of the recommended students and were asked to to the stage, introduce themselves and speak some words. the are ria bestelia, rose valencia and allen rodol, mc. rose and ria's speech and intro was well received by the student. whem it was mc, the students were disappointed that he came from an unknown or country side school. mc felt displeased of what had happened. his dreams of having a normal school life is over. after an extensive lonely practice to get over his shame dyring the orientation, he decide to go to the academy's public bathm unfortunately, when he got there, he finds ria bestelia getting dressed. as mc tries to run away, ria angrily challenges mc to a duel.

5.1 the duel's condition is the loser will be slave to the winner. mc acceots. leia ladtinote overhears it and decides to referee their match. during the duel, ria summons her magic sword, fafnir primitive emperor, something mc does not have and know how to. she mocks mc for not having a magic sword. as the duel convince, ria vesteria is surprised at mc's sword technique. as clash goes on, ria praises mc for his strong skills but she's still unconvince that mc is a match for her as she unleashes her ultimate.

5.2 mc got backed to the cornered with ria's ultimate paired with her magic sword and spirit garment. but mc uses another sword technique of his and defeats princess ria vesteria. leia lastinote asks ria about the duel conditions. ria definitely did not see this coming and she does not even want to be a slave. mc did not want anything afterward, but with leia lastinote's manipulative assertion to ria, the prideful princess accepts the conditions. ria calls mc master. leia lastinote also exclaims that the slave must take care of her master, starting the next day, ria's room will also be mc's room, the president's order.

6.1 a duel between swordsmen is a matter of pride, and once a fight is settled, no matter what the conditions are, if they really are swordsmen, they will follow it. no matter what the conditions were. probably like a promise. as mc and ria vesteria settles down from enemies to acquiatances, they both suspect it was leia lastinote that set them up to have the duel. as it's time to have a rest, mc asks ria to go take a bath before she sleeps for the night. meanwhile, mc plans on practicing while ria bathes.

6.2 somehow the two ended up sleeping in the same bed together. ria set her mind that she's a slave to mc, while mc is just trying his best to get things over without having ria's swordsman pride get hurt. although mc wanted to sleep on the floor, as a slave ria asks mc to get on the bed and sleep beside her. mc obliged. ria thought that mc will do something with her as a master to a slave but mc just fell asleep.

7.1 next day, mc and ria vesteria are friendly toward each other going to class. mc noticed that others highpy respect her, mc did not want to intrude, he moves away from her. as mc tries greeting other students, they shun him. ria notices this, went to the students rude to mc and told them that she will not be talking to them. she went by mc's side at tye back ot the class, somehow this garnered the attention of most of the students. suddenly, rose valencia enters the classroom with a very haggard look. mc asks if she's alright, she affirms she's fine. then the president/director of the school, leia lastinote enters the room. she tells them she'll be taking charge of the class. mc has a bad feeling with her the president being there. leia lastinote then announce the participants of the festiva of the holy days. normally participants will be chosen tests but this time, the academy automatically chose the participants. they are rose valencia, ria vesteria and mc. mc's hunch was correct. one of the students, tessa vermond, objects mc's participation. he goes insulting mc as a nobody from an unknown school. mc let it be. leia lastinote joins the insult as she tries to provoke mc. but it was useless. mc went to the director and whispered that she should just chose someone else as he is notninterested in participating. suddenly, leia lastinote lied and tells every student in class that mc insulted the other students and asked to duel him. this angered the other students. leia lastinotes plan of manipulating and making mc center stage went successful. 

7.2 they went to the training area for the duel. the battle will be a duel between mc and tessa vermond with his two entourage. it will be a 1v1 duel. or so mc thought. the first bout vs 1 opponent, mc won. but the director complained it was unfair and that the match should be 1v3 and not 1v1. mc dealt with the three 1 at a time. he easily overwhelmed them. after the match, the students watching congratulated him.  ria knew mc is already great, rose asked mc to explain to her how he did his moves. when the three students mc defeats finally woke up, they bowed their heads and acknowledges mc's capability. later on, the rest of the class A, acknowledges mc as representative. once again, leia lastinote announced the three participants, mc, rose and ria.

8.1 early morning in the cold month of april, their class is in the training area to test out the students proficiency with sword. they also have a guest personnel who will measure their capability. mc aces everything with unimaginable feat to thw point that mc had to hold down his power for even the giest personnel to measure his proficency. after the test, yhey were given free time to use the training area. his classmates asked mc to exchange techniques with mc. never have mc thought his entire school life to be fun with classmates compared to how it was back in his previous school. he is now enjoying his school life.

8.2 next day, mc has a day off. mc planned on training for the whole but ria vesteria asks mc if he'd like to go eat out for lunch with her. as having connections with friends is just as important as training, mc agrees to go with ria. along the way, rose valencia joined them. mc never thought that they'd be visiting many places with just the three of them. until they finally arrived at a jewellry store. mc is worried of the prices of the accessories there unlike rose and ria. as he asked for the two to let him rest on side, a group of masked bandits attacks the store. the three students defeats the bandits. next day, they were in the newspaper as the students who apprehended the masked bandits.

9.1 as the three goes on with their break, they are suddenly called on to the directors office. there they met with no.18,  a class a criminal that does all the paper works for the director. aside that, the main point of the trio being called is about their first match in the big five holy days competition. their first match is vs the ice king academy it seems the thousand swords academy is a long time rival of the ice king academy. director leia lastinite riles up the three but it seems mc is the only one who is sanely unaffected. the matches will be a 3 1v1 duel, the plan of the director is to put shame against their rival. she sets up the line up as mc going in first while the two will take second and third. she wants mc to deal with the three matches all on his own without letting his teammate take a fight. ria and rose understood leia's way of thinking, but this just placed a whole lot of pressure on mc.

9.2 on the day of the event, they find out that only two participants will be fighting for the ice king academy. this angered leia lastinote that she made a last minute change in the team line up. she dropped ria and rose on the match and made mc the sole participant for their team. but she was denied as she tries to complain, the ditector of the ice king academy, ferris, appears to greet them. the two directors ended up in name callings. as the two insults esch for one final time, they took their respective team and leaves. mc felt a bloodlust from one of the ice king academy participant.

10.1 on the day of their match as they head in for the duel, ria, rose and leia encourages mc to give it his all for the match and that he should not lose. the first match is mc vs cain material, as they start, cain summons his magic sword hell hundred. mc thought it would be easy but suddenly mc got knocked down. in mc's thoughts he is transported to a world much like when he pushed the million year button. there was a timer of 100 in the world. somehow, mc trained there for 100 years and when he wakes up, he surprised the referee by saying he'd still want to continue with the match. mc launches an attack, this surprised cain. mc defeats cain. cain asks how mc could be unfazed although he was trap for 100 years. mc says it was only 100 years. mc is announced victor for the first duel. as mc heads back, rose asked how mc was able to copy her techniqeue. mc explains that while mc was trapped in the hell hundred, he practiced all the techniques he got from his classmates and even improved them. mc promises to teach them what he learned. the second match shortly begins, cid euclius was introduced as a self taught just like mc.

10.2 as the two clash. mc sees the strength of cid. but mc knew it was only that. cid is strong but there nothig else in to it, compared to mc who have trained for manu years. mc dealt the first blood. this anger cid and insults the techniques of mc and says that it's only strength that mattered. cid summons his magic sword, vanargand. mc gets beat up. as cid was about to deal the final blow, mc caught the sword with his hands.

11.1 mc's appearance changed to one with longer hair and a different attitude. the current different mc, insults himself. as cid attacks mc. he catches and stop the attsck but noticed his hands bleeding. he shouted insulted to the time hermit and his gaze catches the time hermit at the stand. cid suddenly attacks mc. but mc easily catches it. mc then continiously beat cid. cid tries to hold onthinking what happened to mc was a spirit core of some sort and that it has a time limit. as the beat goes on, mc suddenly felt bored and summons his own magic sword.

11.2 cid unleashes his ultimate vs mc but it was futile. as cid lies on the ground, mc readies his attsck for one last strike. suddenly ria appears and tries to stop mc. but the current possessed mc do not know who ria was. ria tries making mc remember who she is while trying to make him stop. but it was futile. mc readies his hand to strike ria. befire the sword could hit ria, mc gained back his consciousness. he falls on ria's shoulder and apologizes to her. mc tells her her voice reached him. mc loses consciousness. mc wakes up on a hospital bed and by his side are ria and rose. ria and rose was relieved to see mc finally awake. leia lastinite enters the room and announces that they have been disqualified from the competition, as well the ice king academy. the reason was mc rampaged and their team could not stop mc on time. also, as a penalty, the three students will be suspended for a month. the boards who decided this matter was from the entirety of the head of the five schools. leia lastinote said that their true aim was to weaken the thousand sword academy with the three students suspension. in the next month, the schools will be doing a special class mastering soul burial.  leia lastinote confessed to the three that it was also her fault that both ria and rose got suspended since she went on a ramoage during the board meeting. but she tells the three students to not worry as she asked no.18 to come up with a training plan to make the three suspended students keep up with other academies. they are going to become magic swordsmen.

12.1 thethree heads to the director's office for the briefing of their task while suspended. 

but before that mc asked what happened to him during the competition, leia lastinite says mc got possessed by his spirit core. ria explains and says that his spirit core is so strong that it has an ego of its own. back to their magic swordsmen training, as part of punishment along the lines of their suspension, the three were sent to the magic swordsmen guild to register and take quests, they will not be compensated. as a bounty hunter, rose valencia led the other two to the guild. it was a bar. after a bit of a scuffle with the other patrons the three head towards the reception desk.

12.2 the scary looking receptionist kindly introduced himself as bins darlton, the branch manager of the place. he id kind to the students but is ultra violent on those who break his rules. as soon as the three registered, bons recommended exterminating demonic beast for their training. although reluctant and wanted to go for weaker monsters as suggested by their directir, bons says that if training is what they wanted they should go for demonic beasts. the three accepts. their targets are goblins, ogres and chimeras.

13.1 from their targets the goblins, the ogre to the chimera, mc was slaying them all on his own. even mc himself is surprised with how strong he has become. the other two complais to mc but they can't help but feel impressed at how mc became so strong. they have the urge to keep up with him. their immediate submission surprised bons on how fast they completed the quest. a week later, their next job is a transport quest. bons also asked the two to make a market research in drestia, the destination of the transport, for a festival. the three asked if it was fine for them since they were suspended. mc reprimands the three and tells them to just take a break for once with their training and enjoy their youth. bons says that its his personal request and if anyone arguenwith it, they should tell itnto bons. during the escort quest, the old lady client talked to the three of how she remembered the thousand swords academt was. it was the steonfest academy and it's headed by leia lastinote/rathnot who uses no sword style. the rival ferris was an even match to her but she never won even once vs leia rathnot

13.2 when the arrive, shandy, the client hurt her back and was not able to complete her delivery. mc asked ria and rose to accompany her to hospital as mc completes the delivery. mc is met a swindler who tried to scam with the delivery of the wheat. mc beats the swindlers guards easily and the swindler agrees to pay what's agreed in the contract. as mc continues with his task, three ladies eyes mc from afar. they are sent to kill mc. but before they coud start, no.18 appears and beat the three assassins. before the magic swordsman registration,leia lastinote already had a hunch that the board members who wanted mc expelled plans on doing something vs mc. she had no.18 act as body for mc as well ria and rose. despite no.18 criminal history, leia lastinote warned no.18 to act as guard and nothing else. no.18 obliges. back in the drestia, no.18 felt something more will happen during the festival.

14.1 after the three finishes up their escort mission and delivery, they enjoyed their market research on the festival. as they walk by the merchant association building with the 5 affluent merchants on their meeting, a sudden explosion in the building occured and certain terrorist are attacking. the guard leaders tells his men that the terrorist are after the the 5 affluent merchants. the trio respond to the aid. as they followed inside the guard leader of the 5 affluent merchant 's army, they see bodies on the floor lying and unconscious. they then meet a crazed terrorist seeking for a challenge. when the terrorist noticed mc, he called out mc's name. and calls him his lover. ria and rise decides to face the derranged terrorist and tells mc to go find the affluent merchants and aid them. mc reluctantly obeyed.

14.2 mc finds the 5 affluent merchants, guided them towards a hidden passage that one of them knew and left them once they got to the oassage. mc heads back to his friends. when mc got ti them, they are lying on the floor, the derrange terrorist defeated them. as mc faces the derranged terrorist, he reveals himself as doriel botton/barton, the bully who mc defeated back in his previous school. after his lose to mc, he trained hard to defest mc but at that length, somehow he lost his sanity. as mc sees his former classmate, a genius swordsman, he notices his weapon cloaked in soul dressing? the twonfaces iff but somehow doriel have an ability to phase through mc's attacks.

15.1 mc dodges a flurry of attack from doriel. after sone thought, he found out about doriel's ability. he could enter the shadow. doriel applauds mc for finding out his ability. but he was certain mc wouldn't beat him. in truth mc had a technique against such abilities. a sword skill that can cut through worlds. as the two clashes once more, mc used his techniquenand finally, mc landed a clean hit on doriel.

15.2 as doriel gets defeated, he escaped through the window. before mc could go after him, the building shook and was about to collapse. mc hurriedly carried his two motionless friend. mc saw the exit, but everything was in vain as the building collapses. he wanted to sacrifice himself just to save ria and rose as he tried cover them from the falling debris. suddenly, one of the merchant that mc saved appears and extinguish the explosion which stopped the building from collapsing. as ria and rose regained consciousness their aim was for the terrorist who defested them. mc reassure them that everything is fine and that he had defeated the terrorist. mc went to the merchant and thank her. she introduces are lise doraheim, owner of fox financial. she tells them she's sister if felice/ferris, the director of the ice king academy. she also tells mc that in exchange of helping her, in the future if mc needed, she will aid mc. she warned mc if the terrorist group they got involved with, the jet black knights, they might come look for revenge vs mc. three weeks later, the three finally finished being magic swordsmen and their suspension lifted. mc is looking forward for their soul dressing class.
